Match Report Press Report
With higher rankings in 4 out of the 5 strings and having done what Hove Fitness and Squash were unable to do and beat Lewes this looked like strong chance for a win for Dunnigs. However the home team had other ideas and came through winning 5-0. Special mention to Joe for overcoming more than 200 ranking points difference to win the 1st string match 3-0 in what was a scintillating match to watch. HF&S will be hoping to carry this form on to their next home match against Weald I.
Hove Fitness & Squash V Beat Dunnings S and RC III in a one-sided match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 10 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Oliver Dewdney winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 97 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Keith Waters.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 1 string, Joe Isherwood, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.
